As the sole intern in this new department, I assisted with various media platforms available for the Situation Room. I monitored and approved comments on for the blog, Facebook, and Twitter pages as well as conducted research for the Time Warner Floor Pass mobile app. I suggested tweets to draw in viewers for the show and was able to wrote an article on the Education Departments annual Bullying Prevention Summit for the Schools of Thought Blog
By volunteering with the weekly university newspaper I was able to accumulate a portoflio of news, sports, entertainment and editorial clips. This includes a story on how one of the 9/11 terrorists has ties to North Carolina A & T.

George Zimmerman trial & researched historical information relevant to the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington. When I was promoted to a PA I used the information I researched to assist with the live show taping of "The March and The Movement."
